Using the Publication Checklist (and associated lot statuses) on the Framework Summary screen, you can identify if all areas are complete (Green). You can at this stage add further lots, copy an existing lot setup he edit to save time with similar lots and delete lots that have been established in error.  When you are happy with the lots, availability settings and all frameworks details (and all have a green status) you can publish the framework by clicking on the “Publish framework” button. It can also be previewed to see how it will look to anyone viewing the Framework.

When a framework is published it will be made available for use by your organisations (and any others granted access) for further competitions (availability dates dependant). Frameworks can be viewed by heading to Sourcing > Projects > Frameworks, and any "Active" will be shown (Active meaning the date it is being viewed is in between the "Available from" and "Available until" dates).

If the "Available from" date has not been reached yet, it will show as 'Inactive' and will not be visible on the 'Approved for use' framework list (it can still be viewed by clicking Yes in the 'Show unpublished & expired" filter on the left hand side and updating). In the same way, if the 'Available until' date has passed it will be classed as "Expired".

Once available, it will show as "Active", and further competitions can be ran from it by relevant users.

Unpublishing the Framework

A published framework can be Unpublished if any changes need to be made to the framework e.g. changes to workflows.  You unpublish the framework by clicking on the “Unpublish framework” button.
